Preparing To Meet With NewSpring Capital:

While we recognize that each entrepreneur and opportunity is unique, we believe that successful investment pitches share a common core. As such, we request that you consider the following guidelines for your presentation to NewSpring Capital.

To maximize the effectiveness of our time together, please plan to present an overview of your company that is organized to run 20 minutes to 30 minutes, followed by a 30-minute period for questions and comments.

An ideal presentation contains approximately 12 to 15 slides, and should be emailed to the individual with whom you are in contact at NewSpring Capital at least one day before you make your presentation.

The presentation should cover:

1. An introduction to the company, including how much capital the company seeks.

2. A company overview, including an “elevator pitch” or mission statement.

3. The customer problem the company seeks to solve, and the size and opportunity of the market addressed.

4. The company’s solution and/or products (including the specific benefits to the customer).

5. An explanation of the product or service.

6. An explanation of the core technology.

7. A competitive analysis, including points of differentiation.

8. Key marketing and leverage points.

9. Key metrics of success, and financial projections.

10. The management team, including bios of key individuals.

11. A status report on the company, including timeline and use of funds.

12. The current capitalization of the company.

13. A summary: “Why utilize or invest in this company?” and a call-to-action.
