COMPANIES NAMED TO DELOITTE TECHNOLOGY FAST 50
Record Number of Honorees for NewSpring Capital
King of Prussia, PA – October 30, 2006– NewSpring Capital announced today that for the first time ever, four of its portfolio companies, Ecount, Inc., Fiberlink Communications Corp., Prescient Applied Intelligence and TMG Health, Inc., were named to the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Program for Greater Philadelphia.
NewSpring Capital invested in Fiberlink in October, 1999 and Prescient in February, 2000. Ecount and TMG Health entered the portfolio in February, 2001 and December, 2002, respectively. NewSpring Capital has seen the remarkable growth of all of the companies first-hand. The Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Program is a ranking of the 50 fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications and life sciences companies in the area by Deloitte & Touche USA LLP, one of the nation’s largest professional services firms. The rankings are based on the percentage of revenue growth over five years, 2001-2005. TMG Health’s revenues increased over 450 percent from 2001 to 2005, which resulted in a #13 ranking in the Technology Fast 50 for Greater Philadelphia. Ecount’s revenue soared 315% during the timeframe, which netted them #16 in the rankings. Prescient ranked #28 on the list, with revenue growth of 172%. Fiberlink, on the list for the fourth consecutive year, landed at #30, with revenue growth of 168%.
